Andy and Hope have two boys, Chris, a senior in high school, Drew, a 9th grader. Andy has a Master of Divinity degree from Denver Seminary; a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M and a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M. Andy began his ministry career with Campus Crusade for Christ. He worked 15 years in campus ministry in three locations, Colorado, Russia and Chile. Following his career with Crusade, Andy returned to his home church in Greeley, Colo., to serve as the adult ministries pastor for a year. Then he became the senior pastor at Sierra Vista Baptist Church in Sierra Vista, Ariz., prior to becoming the singles’ pastor for Lincoln Berean Church in October 2002. North Pointe Community Church was birthed out of Lincoln Berean Church in September of 2005. Sitting around talking with people energizes Andy. A good day includes lot of people contact. He also loves sudoku and “ken-ken” puzzles and University of Michigan football.
Jared serves as the Communications and Outreach Pastor at North Pointe. He has been married to his college sweetheart Lindsey since 2004. He has three kids, Dreyven born in 2008, Ariyah born in 2010 and Brynlee born in 2014. Jared enjoys making moments with his family, any excuse to get outdoors to camp out and lots of coffee. In 2006, Jared graduated from UNL with a Secondary Education degree with an emphasis in English. After graduating, he accepted his first full-time Student Pastor position at Grace Fellowship Church in Omaha, Nebraska where he served for five years. He served as the Student Pastor here at North Pointe from 2011 until he moved into his current role of Communication and Outreach Pastor in 2014.
Daniel serves as the Worship Pastor at North Pointe. He was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan where his parents have been serving as Korean missionaries for over 28 years. He met his wife, Kelsey while attending Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, where he earned a B.A. in Bible and Music. It was at Moody that Daniel realized his passion for leading the church in music and worship. Daniel joined the staff in October 2016. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys watching and playing soccer as well as discovering new music.
Middle School Pastor
Cody serves as the Middle School Pastor at North Pointe and has been on staff since December of 2015. He and Ashlie met at Church Camp and have been married since 2011. They have been blessed with a boy, Xander (2012) and a girl, Phoenix (2014). It has been a never ending adventure for sure! Cody enjoys being outdoors, camping, biking, disc golf and geocaching. He also loves the idea of making something new, whether it is roasting coffee or fixing up a motorcycle figuring out how to improve on what’s already there is an exciting endeavor! After graduating from Ozark Christian College with a degree in Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Counseling and Psychology he became the Associate Pastor at Seneca Christian Church in Seneca, MO where he coordinated volunteers and support staff to facilitate growth with students from birth to college age. It was there where he developed a passion for middle school students to know God greater, and through that, God opened the door at North Pointe
High School Pastor
Brian serves in a dual role both at North Star High School as the Community Learning Center Coordinator and as our High School Pastor. He has been married to Kristina since November 2011, and have two kids, their son Ryan Cole born December 2014 and their daughter Kari born November 2016! Brian enjoys playing sports, thinking up new and exciting clubs for North Star, extreme sports, coaching football, building up young leaders, and dreaming up crazy ideas and games to play with the students at North Pointe. He also enjoys using his grill and smoker to make a variety of meaty treats. Brian graduated from Trinity International University in 2012 with a degree in Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Youth with a minor in Biblical Studies. During college and after graduating he served as an intern at a large youth group in the suburbs of Chicago for three years. In those years in Chicago he was able to start up and lead various aspects of their student ministry. Brian joined our staff in June 2014. Brian has been involved with youth ministry for seven years now and has a big heart and desire to see students connect with healthy adults so that they can become all they were designed to be in order to make an impact in our community and wherever their life may take them.
